Timescale 5 days
Nature of the project- Task
To carry out soda blasting to clean masonry, to clean dressed stone and clean decorative sand stone elements to front elevation of public library . Carry out general stone repair and re pointing limestone joints.



The Suggested Improvements
To use soda blast method and n02 Vortex II blast head at 2-3 bar pressure to clean and remove all moss and remove loose lime mortar pointing to expose damages to mortar joints to allow inspection of repairs.


What We Did
We discussed the job at length with the client surveyor and planned and scheduled the works around the busy opening times of the library

Task
The soda blasting was carried out at specified in conjunction with other the project team and other contractors.
